We force everything out of 2019 to the glory of the Lord

We crossed the year border a few days ago. 2018 changed its name. Or is that number? Anyway, it is now 2019. For many it is “business as usual”. For others it is a new beginning. Excitement, uncertainty, expectation ... these emotions and many others surround us. None of us know what awaits us, as the Preacher writes in Ecclesiastes. But this doesn’t mean we have to sit passively and wait for the unknown. Then we are merely victims. Then life lives us, instead of the other way around. Ecclesiastes teaches us that we have to grab and live life to the fullest. We have to squeeze every ounce of life out of life! We should do what out hands find to do to the glory of the Lord. We should refuse to be victims of others’ negative emotions, problems, “hang-ups” and others’ “issues”! Their problems should remain their problem. We are here in 2019 to shine for the Lord.
